Microblading
Hair-by-hair strokes that read as your own brows, only better.

What it is
Microblading uses a fine hand-tool to draw individual, hair-like strokes of pigment into the upper layers of the skin. Each stroke follows the direction of your natural hair, so the result reads as fuller brows rather than makeup. It suits people who want the most natural, textured finish and have normal-to-dry skin.
Is it right for you?
We'd rather be honest up front than have you book something that isn't the best fit.
✓ A great fit if
- ✓You want the most natural, hair-like brow finish
- ✓You have sparse, over-plucked, or uneven brows
- ✓Your skin is normal to dry
- ✓You want to wake up with defined brows
✕ Maybe not if
- ✕You have very oily skin or large pores — powder or combination brows hold better
- ✕You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- ✕You have active skin conditions, eczema, or psoriasis in the brow area
- ✕You are on blood-thinning medication (please tell us at consultation)
Before & after.
Healed results only — drag the handle to compare.
The process.
- 01
Consultation & mapping
We study your face shape and existing brows, then map the shape together and agree on a pigment tone before anything begins.
- 02
Numbing
A topical anaesthetic is applied so the session stays comfortable throughout.
- 03
Stroke work
Individual strokes are drawn by hand, following your natural hair direction, and refined layer by layer.
- 04
Review & aftercare
We review the result with you in good light and send you home with written aftercare and everything you need for healing.
Healing, day by day.
Knowing what to expect makes healing easy. Here's how the weeks unfold.
- 1
Day 1–3
Brows look bold and crisp — this softens.
- 2
Day 4–7
Light flaking begins; do not pick.
- 3
Day 8–14
Colour looks faint as the skin heals over — this is normal.
- 4
Day 15–30
The true, softer colour settles and strokes sharpen.
- 5
Week 6–8
Perfecting touch-up refines colour and any gaps.
Aftercare essentials.
- ✓Keep the area clean and dry for the first 7 days
- ✓Blot gently — never rub, scratch, or pick at flakes
- ✓Avoid makeup, sweat, saunas, and swimming for 10–14 days
- ✓Apply the provided balm sparingly as directed
- ✓Keep brows out of direct sun while healing
Microblading questions.
-
A topical anaesthetic is applied before and during the session. Most clients describe it as light scratching that is easily tolerated.
-
Typically 12–18 months depending on your skin type and lifestyle. A touch-up refreshes colour and crispness.
-
Skin heals unpredictably and everyone retains pigment differently. The 6–8 week perfecting session is part of the process, not an extra.
